"Being commissioned to paint two custom artworks for the Townsville Airport renovation and have my artwork covering 150sq m of wall inside the terminal where more than a million people will walk past each year is pretty epic," she says. "As well as being a huge achievement, I see it as a great reward for all my contribution and participation here over the past decade in the arts community.”

‘North Queensland Artist Brenda Stone is creating a large mural for the new-look Townsville Airport terminal.

Fibrefinish had the privilege of collaborating with local artist Brenda Stone for a unique and sizeable project that was in Flinders Lane, Townsville’s CBD. This short video showcases some of Brenda's work, a little bit about her and how we helped to get this massive project done in a short window before the opening.
