Marine Mirage is a serene yet powerful reflection of the sea’s mysterious and repetitive beauty. This canvas was painted outdoors, on a 31 degree sunny North Queensland day! Using my unique method of pouring my paints with spoons, I freely dripped the acrylics and enamels over the surface of the canvas, allowing them to blend and also react. Layered shades of aquamarine, navy, and soft white echo the patterns of light dancing on repetitive waves. With fluid textures and subtle movement across the surface of the canvas. Let this bring a sense of calm, clarity, and coastal magic to your space.
